Congratulations to Matthias Ullmann (C03 project), Johannes Foerster and their cooperation partners Antonella Di Savino and Marcellus Ubbink from the Leiden University on their new publication in the journal Biochemistry "The Charge Distribution on a Protein Surface Determines Whether Productive or Futile Encounter Complexes Are Formed".

In this publication, important theoretical principles and models were developed and applied, which are used in the C03 project to study the enzymatic degradation mechanisms of plastics.
